10:00AM CST Oracle Database: Full day Practicum on Oracle Database security by Daniel Morgan, ACE Director Alum
The practicum will be unpublished materials previous taught at the University of Washington updated to 19c/23ai including a PowerPoint slide free zone (well very close to PPTX-free) hands-on-experience (you will need a laptop with Oracle Database 12c, 18c, 19c or 21c Enterprise Edition exercises requiring writing SQL statements (source code will be provided)
The practicum will be career enhancement focused and will provide those attending with security-focused skills not available anywhere else.
If you have colleagues, DBAs, Developers, Security Professionals that you think might benefit from this material ... this would be a good time to invite them to join this session at a very nominal cost.

About the Speakers
Daniel Morgan is currently Technical Director of Database Security at Oracle and a member of Oracle’s internal Security Tiger Team. Morgan began his career as an Oracle Database consultant in the mid-1980s working with version 5.1 and is now actively Beta Testing version 23c. His career has included being one of the first Oracle ACE Directors (2007), an adjunct professor at the University of Washington, international travel for Oracle to countries and numerous times speaking at Oracle conferences in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Asia-Pacific Region.
