  • Enterprises are adopting cloud at a faster rate, and Oracle workloads are no exception. When it comes to database, OCI has several options – why? Is Oracle Cloud (OCI) the best cloud to run Oracle workloads? What are my options for Azure, AWS, and GCP? What are the DBaaS options available? Should I consider the Autonomous database at all? Can Exadata workloads migrate to the cloud? How about RAC in the cloud? There are a lot of questions regarding the Oracle database workload in the cloud. Let’s discuss the options available in each cloud.

  • Amazon RDS Oracle Database service and Oracle Autonomous Database are DBaaS. Understand both services’ features and contrasts – not an attempt to show one is better than the other. Both have their use cases and advantages. Having a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations will help you understand your application’s best and suitable service.
