Elections for Board member seats take place in January of each year. Half of the Board seats are up for election each year. The term for each seat on the Board is for 2 years. The President is allowed to place Interim candidates, in the event of vacancies on the Board.
Even numbered years the following positions are re-elected: President, Secretary, Special Projects Director, and Communications Director.
Odd numbered years the following positions are re-elected: Vice President, Treasurer, Membership Coordinator, and Webmaster.
Feb 2026 Elections - Submit your name if you are interested in a position on the board :
President :Coordinate the directors' activities, thereby ensuring a cohesive strategy. Review corporate and fiscal matters, and ensure open and fair elections.
Secretary: Primary Responsibilities: Recording minutes of the user group and board meetings, responding to requests for information about membership and other miscellaneous tasks.
Special Projects Director: Primary Responsibilities: Scheduling facilities and catering for quarterly meetings and special events.
Communications Director: Primary Responsibilities: Compile and edit content submitted for publication on the website. Publish content to social media communication channels.
