9:10-10:10am Empowering AI with any Oracle workload - by Tom Rieger
Unlock the future of enterprise intelligence by combining your trusted Oracle databases with the industry-leading AI capabilities of Google Cloud. This session demonstrates how to easily integrate any Oracle workload with Google Cloud’s AI capabilities without high-risk migrations or complex pipeline overhead. Discover how to build secure, low-latency AI agents that query, analyze, and automate directly from your current environments.
10:15-11:15am Securing Data in Oracle DB: A Deep Dive into Data Safe for Compliance & Audit - by Jayachandra Raju Suraparaju
As regulatory requirements tighten and data breaches continue to rise, securing sensitive data inside databases has become a critical responsibility for DBAs and security teams alike. Oracle Data Safe provides a unified, cloud-based platform to assess security posture, monitor data access, and enforce compliance across Oracle databases—both on-premises and in the cloud.
In this deep-dive session, we will explore how Oracle Data Safe helps organizations identify sensitive data, evaluate database security risks, monitor user activity, and meet compliance requirements without disrupting existing workloads. The session will walk through the core capabilities of Oracle Data Safe, including Security Assessment, User Risk Analysis, Activity Auditing, Sensitive Data Discovery, and Data Masking, and explain how these features work together to reduce data exposure and strengthen database security.
Attendees will gain insights into real-world use cases, common misconfigurations discovered through assessments, and best practices for enabling auditing and compliance monitoring at scale. We will also discuss how Oracle Data Safe fits into modern enterprise security and governance strategies, empowering DBAs to move beyond traditional administration into proactive data protection and risk management.
By the end of the session, participants will have a clear understanding of how to leverage Oracle Data Safe to improve compliance posture, enhance audit readiness, and protect sensitive data across their Oracle database environments.
11:20-11:50am Still Running Solaris? You're Not Alone: Managing Mission-Critical Legacy Oracle Infrastructure in 2026 - by Eric Steed
This presentation explores why Oracle Solaris remains a relevant and valuable platform for mission-critical enterprise workloads, highlighting its continued strengths in reliability, security, virtualization, observability, and Oracle workload integration
11:55-12:25pm Lightning Talk: Maintenance and Patching - by Dan Morgan
Most Oracle Database deployments utilize passwords and certificates but essentially nowhere in the Oracle Database education realm is guidance provided on how and when to create and manage users based on different types of authentication. This Lightning Talk will focus on multiple variations of CREATE USER and secondary configurations with respect to PROFILE and RESOURCE MANAGEMENT assignments. Be sure to invite your manager for this one, if not in person, via video conference.

1:10-2:10pm Constantly Under Attack - by Dan Morgan
New artificial intelligence (AI) tools have increased risk by making cyber security attacks more frequent, more capable, and more costly in terms of everything from increased workload to reputational damage.
"Constantly Under Attack" provides Oracle customers with a deep understanding of how new dangers such as Mythos, an AI from Anthropic, attack. The foundation for this keynote is that so-called artificial intelligence tries to use silicon and software to emulate how human brains make decisions and turns it on its head. "Constantly Under Attack" is based on a study of how an artificial intelligence application designed specifically to find vulnerabilities work and then emulates that with a human and a keyboard.
Artificial Intelligence attacks rarely use one bug, one un-patched vulnerability, rather they find multiple independent steps, referred to as primitives, to construct a sequence of steps that expose, not a bug, but a gap. This presentation does that live in Oracle 26ai and not only demonstrates how the attack was performed, SQL statement by SQL statement, but how you can protect your data and your databases from this form of attack.
2:10-2:30pm Afternoon Tea Break
2:30-2:50pm Lightning Talk: Cyber-Insurance for Oracle Professionals - by Dan Morgan
Oracle professionals are in a unique position with respect to the organizations they support.
On one hand we could be responsible for cancelation of our employer's cyber security policy or the failure of the insurance company to pay many millions of dollars in the event of an incident.
On the other hand, it is likely that if anyone has ever talked to us about insurance at work it was health or life insurance. We're going to change and it will be appropriately brutal.
Be sure to invite your manager for this one, if not in person, via video conference.
